We were occupied during WW2 by the very same people and the very same ideas as he promotes and tries to back up now.
With a war nearby, and the danger of a worse war luring around the corner, we don't need undermining of our coherence.
While many people are told to shut up, media in his own country need to resort to self-sensorship to survive, people who oppose the regime suffer consequences like deportation, even when they have been born in the very same country, the reasons for opposing the existence of the European Union is that it's of no use for the USA and is the lack of freedom of speech in Europe.

We can say everything. We can express our sincere opinions about who- and whatever we want. Even when it concerns our King, our prime minister or our own European Union.
We can only see this as his "rule and divide".
And as in WW2 the masses blindly followed the wrong person, he expects the people whom we see as a threat for democracy to bow and bend for how he sees himself... as the MIP.
We're living in dangerous times.

Freedom of speech in Europe has legal limitations.
- It should be within the law, so no discrimination, etc.
- It should not be targetted insult, determined by court.
- It should not be false information. Also spreading false information is illegal.
- It should not be medical advice. This is only allowed for legal doctors.
This is to protect people from harm.
But freedom of speech for the MIP:
speak his language, vent his opinion, otherwise he will crush you one way or another!
