It was sunny and warm when I left.
Son2 drove me to the trainstation and my daughter sat with me until the train arrived.
Son1 was already in there.
As he had such strange moods the past month I didn't know what to expect, so I kept rather quiet.
He worked through the last parts of his tasks and then relaxed a bit.
By the time we arrived in Brussels he was rather OK. I was still a bit hesitant, to be honest.
The hotel, which he said was right beside the station, was behind the station, a walk through a messy and chaotic mix of uneven pavement, streets, etc etc. Wouldn't have been nice to have been there alone, as the first plan was.
When we were walking on a kind of street(ish), pothole path, son1 was focussing on a building with a lot of purple, as he thought that to be the main colour of the hotel, but he had said "posh", so when I walked past a building with marble(ish) pillars I looked at a small sign on one of them.
I called my son but it took three times saying the same to convince him this was indeed the hotel.
The hotel was posh indeed, but it was nice dealing with friendly people who were polite and precisely pointed out where we needed to go.
The hotelroom was very clean!!!
And when I say clean: not a spot or a suggestion of dust.

I slept so very well!!
The next morning we went to the railwaystation rather early.
I was a bit tense to go through customs. I had a few penlike things with me with in the back 6 mini screwdrivers. The gifts for the men. Nothing which was not allowed, but still.
No problem. Even when I said I couldn't go through the checkbecause of my sensor, I was treated very nice. Was hardly checked. She waved it away when I said I had plates and screws in my ankle.
We had eurostar premium, so got coffee and a small breakfast, had plenty of space.
I enjoyed being back at St.Pancras !!!!
Son1 needed to do something in London, and was probably aware he was not thanked for his long walk through London to get some breakfast last time. (Maybe his premium was a present?)
So we decided it would be best to go straight to Paddington Station.
When we arrived there I let a guy with an assistance car pass and soon sat own near Paddington, watching the kids sit with Paddington to be photographed. B.t.w. not only kids, also grown ups, even groups of grown ups.
Then the assiatnce guy sat besideme and we had a talk.
He offered me to bring me to the train later, which was very kind. But as long as I can walk, I will.
A grandma and grandpa had taken photos with Paddington and a lot of bears, and came t0 sit beside me and put all the bears away.
We continued our travels without any problem.
Got the most nearby room. The one we had last time.
The toiletseat was still slip sliding away. Etc etc.
But we were there!!!
700 or 800 km travelled.
We saw rain an sun...
But we were there again.
