When she was finally home, there was an extensive treatment plan with many people involved.
We also had some intensive conversations about what happened and why.
She was enormously shocked by everything that had happened, so she was open for therapy and didn't intend to walk that path again.
Which ofcourse was a huge relief.
She is not out of the woods yet. She has a long way to go.
One of her doctors prescribed medication and the pharmacy should have provided it in badges of a week.
Instead they gave her everything.
So we agreed to have it here and hand over a few each so many days.
In a way she is relieved things turned out this way.
I am not.
She was at a department where clients would make their own decisions.
So when she went to the staff panicking she had taken too many pills, they told her to go to hospital herself. (!!!!!!).
Because she got woozy, the therapist went after her. Against protocol.
Later he said that they had to follow protocol.. and this was a clash of protocol.
Well, not calling a doctor from the facility was a violation of protocol too!
There will be or has been a meeting to change protocol. In case of an emergency everyone needs at least the help they would get in society.

She was going to hospital with one of the therapists and they had her walk the stairs!!
He walked in front of her and heard a strange sound.
She fell, having an epileptic insult.
He was able to catch her and get her down to the ground slowly.
Called 911 (who were a few hundred meters away), who took her to the hospital.
They should have called 911 at the first moment!!
We're still waiting for some actions I want to see, including a neurologic check.
We ourselves had her see a lovely gynaecologist to find out where her bodily pain comes from.
She has endometriosis and some growths in her uterus.
No cancer (yet), but with our family history of huge concern.
Now the gynaecologist keeps check of her very well.
Glad she does.

Sounds like it definitely has been a roller coaster for you all. I am glad your daughter is getting the help she needs, and also that she recognizes that she needs the help. Praying the medication and therapy will do what it is intended to do for her. I am sure this has been very hard for you as well. It's one thing to take care of other people's issues, but when it is your own daughter it is another thing altogether. Take care of yourself and get the rest you need as well. (((hugs)))
