- What is your history with cats?
I loved the cat of my aunt. One day she jumped on my lap, I thought that was real fun.
Until my eyes started itching and someone noticed swelling of my eyes and my neck. Before the breathing problems started I was already on my way to hospital, where I got treatment for anafilactic shock.
So I am allergic to cats, and our history is about ignoring each other. - Where did you first pay rent, and what was the space like?
I think when I moved out of the house.
It was a very nice space on top of a wonderful house at the main road.
It had an entrance between wardrobes and bookshelves, leading to a corner with cooking equipment, to the left a large room with a desk against the bookshelves, and my large chairs around... There were stairs at the other side of the bookskelves an on top of the soccalled entrance there was a level floor, for bed, a chest of drawers and other things.
When the window was open I could hear the lessons of the ballet school, so I always had my favorite music. - When did you most recently go into the woods?
When I was in England. - What do you know about Oklahoma?
I know all the songs of the musical.
It is situated between Kansas (North) and Texas (south).
Looks like a hand pointing to the left direction.
Now there are still about 6% native people. They gave the state their name.
ItÅ› part of the Bible Belt there.
Route 66 goes through it. - Where have you been that might be described as a little shop of horrors?
No idea what you mean.
We don't do Halloween, although some shopchains try to push it...

These were interesting answers and fun. Except for the fact that you found out you were allergic to cats! Wow! That was a bit scary how quickly that happened. Glad you got the help you needed in time! I like the description of your first little apartment on your own. It sounds delightful, especially with the ballet music in the background. Reminds me of our first apartment together as man and wife. There was a lady who lived downstairs under us, and every night when we, the "newlyweds", went to bed, (ahem!) she would start to play the organ loudly in her living room below us! LOL. I guess we were making too much noise above her, so she kindly serenaded us to drown out the sound. LOL. That's our funniest memory of our first apartment as newlyweds. You certainly know a lot about Oklahoma for not living in the States! LOL. I know that they have too many tornadoes for me to ever want to live there. We lived in Kansas briefly, and we were so happy to get back to the eastern part of the country where there were mountains and trees and it was not so flat and tornado prone. #5, I wouldn't quite know how to answer that one either. Maybe the dentist office when I was a child...that's another story in itself.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post today! Have a lovely day.
Thanks.
DeleteYes, I was very lucky the whole family was together and there was a car available. We were at the house of the uncle who was a policeman, and he had a car. (And didn't get a ticket. LOL!)
Haha...I think you were right...LOL!!!
Yes, I forgot the tornadoes. We had quite a lot of geography at school. As a trading country it was thought to be of importance that we knew the countries where we were going, and that's why we had foreign languages at school too. At least English, German and French.
Hmmm...the dentist office. I used to be fine with the dentist. We had a nice guy when I was young, and a very frienddly and funny one when I was a student (he became an army dentist). Then the best one, who was more of a family friend. He now runs a huge dental practice in Ottawa. We cried when he left and I still miss him. After that the problems started. One who wanted me to become his girlfriend..Noop!!! And two female ones who shattered my left jaw.
Yes... I have to put that in the post!
Have a great weekend!
I was allergic to cats my whole life too, and I might still be. But I was dating someone who had cats -- dated her for years. And over time I think I lost my allergy, at least to her cats. I even slept over and took care of them when she traveled.
ReplyDeleteOhh, that sounds so good!!
DeleteThey have told me some cats don't shed as bad as others, and that makes the difference.
Well I hope that you won't have a reaction when you come across cats again.
