We were lucky we heard in time that son2 would be driving us to the tattoo-artist.
Which posed a complication, as he didn't know yet about my tattoo.
When we arrived there I told him about the strange find of my father's RAF badge, shoulder patch and ID-tags. (See here)
And showed him the tatoo.
He was amazed.
Good!

I wanted the tattoo shadowed or with clouds behind.
And thought that a little spitfire silhouette might be a nice addition.

The evening before I had send my son two links to cameras I liked..
He told me they were not OK enough, but we could go to the camera shop near the tattoo artist. It's a large one. I bought my former camera there and it was great!!
We had to wait quite a long time, but it was clear they wanted to take time to give good advice.
I told the guy what I needed in a camera.. and he said: "I have a choice of two..".
He put the two cameras on the desk... The very same as I had chosen the evening before. LOL!
We discussed a few things and the choice was made rather fast: the one that gave me a good hold with my bad hand. The other had a bit less zoom and was more chunky, a few mm thicker than the other one, so less grip.
As I saved for the camera for yours and years... I had the choice to buy it a bit cheaper someewhere else: meaning a postal order that might not arrive in time for London.
I don't like spending too much, but I could take it home immediately... Get used to it.
And a the shop is known and the service is very good, I decided that was worth it.
Done! Walked out with the box...

We had a pleeasant drive home.
I felt like it was my birthday.
I gave him more money than he used for gasoline.
When we were talking near the car with the boot open, I saw my favorite beer.
Got a bottle too celebrate the tattoo and the camera....

We were so tired, that we tried to relax a bit.
Daughter went to bed for some extra sleep,
and I did some small chores that needed to be done.

It was quite a while before dinnertime that "halloween" started.
Daughter came downstairs fully dressed to go.
Her twin was ill and she thought that she needed to go to the ER with her.
As she was alone in the town north of us, the daughter here would go there.
In the meantime there was a call with the ER and the daughter there was not allowed to go alone.
Assessment of the problems revealed a very serious anaemia, even though she was taking iron for over 6 weeks now. The HB sank a lot last week, indicating serious bloodloss.
She had absences and epileptic like attacks, with memory loss and the whole bit.
At the hospital she nearly fell of her chair in the waitingroom, with all other people there being very concerned.
She had troubles breathing on top of it...

The unknown doctor (GP) didn't take it serious.
So they called me for a conference call.
I felt by my reactions he was not very empathic and I became more and more businesslike.
Talking medical terms, giving him the option to admit her for observation.
He didn't want to do that... but when he saw another attack he gave in... Maybe more because I told him I would hold him responsible if anything serious might happen.
He would call the ER doctor.
But instead of creating trust that everything was done, he went outside the room.
So we don't know what he said and if he gave all the information needed.
She was sent home.
He thought it responsible to get her through the traffic while passing out every so many minutes.

But instead of going to her home there, it was decided by het sis that the train was nearer, and it woud be better to stay with her friend, who knows how to deal with things, and who lives right in the middle of the two hospitals in our town.
On her way there she tried to call a friend... but when she had the phone in her hand she forgot to call!!

At the railwaystation the friend fetched them, and soon they were in a house again..
