DeleteItaly is well worth going. We went to Limone at the Garda lake. A nice small village, lovely people. Amazing area!!
I have been to the top of Mt. Etna and seen the ash. And as my oldest knows all too well, my husband and I ate at a little restaurant up there. We had a couple of cannoli up there, topped with delicious fresh, chopped pistachio. I've had a LOT of cannoli in my life, and those were the best ever. That was in 2008. I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend. Take care and have a good weekend.

ReplyDeleteYes, it does. Part because going to a social event is not as often anymore, part because most have already their social group around them, and maybe also because we get too critical. I am fine being alone, but my real friends live too far away...
