During summer I spend quite some time with my friends of the parachute group.

My son is a parachutist. He jumps with round (WW2) canopees. Mainly at the grounds where paras jumped during WW2 to liberate Europe.
So we call it remembrance jumps.

I volunteer during events and camps.
It's an additional benefit that I am also specialised in veteran care. Quite some of the people who jump are still serving or are veterans.
I also translate Dutch-English if necessary.
