- What bill do you hate paying the most?
The rent one. The rentis far too much. 1000 euro!!! And moving is not an option, unless I am very very very lucky. When I go somewhere smaller I even pay more rent.
Consequence of a tremendous housing shortage. - Which restaurant would you recommend for a romantic dinner?
Victoria Restaurant London - Who was your first grade teacher?
Miss Foot (Juf Voet) - What should you be doing right now?
There is no real "should".
I am working on my bedroom, but my back only enables me to do "so" much.
There is laundry to do, but tuesday has far better weather to dry it outside. - What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Doctor, preferable a GP, but I might have become an obstertrician.
When that road was closed, I tried to get on the midwifery school, but the lottery fell not on me. - How did you choose the shirt you're wearing right now?
I am wearing T- shirt.
It was on top of yesterday's unfolded laundry. - Gas prices! What's your first thought?
ugh... I only use gas for cooking and heating.
Cooking happens mainly in the air fryer, water cooker and microwave.
So it's only heating.. And I am heating whenever necessary: when I am cold or I need to get rid of the humidity in the house.
They want to get all buildings off the gas. I don't mind that. ButI don't like people going through my house and messing things up. And the city heating is a real pain. Other neighbourhoods have already exerienced that. The heat pumps on the walls cause a lows ound I can hear and it really bothers me. - Do you have a teddy bear?
I have multiple teddy bears, a teddy monkey and a lot of giraffes, because I collect giraffes. - Do you own the last book you read, or did you get it from the library?
I own it. - Did you more recently send a text or write a Post It?
When I message someone I never use a post it.
The bills I hate paying the most would be the wiFi bill, because it keeps going up. However, we use the wifi for our television and computers, which we depend on greatly, so it's not something we can eliminate. I also don't like paying our water bill because we have to be so careful not to use too much water or the bill will really go up. We used to have our own well so we didn't have to pay for our water (except the pump was electric, so we paid it in our electric bill). I am thankful that our house mortgage payment (we are buying our home) is not too high, but it goes up when they raise our taxes and also if the insurance company raises their rates, which they do frequently it seems. Even if we pay off the mortgage, we will still have taxes and insurance to pay. So there is no such thing as a totally payment free house! Car insurance is another big expense, but you have to have liability coverage even if your car is paid for. Here in the states having a car is pretty much mandatory because we do not have the mass transit systems that much of Europe has, and we live too far apart from the cities/stores, etc., to ride bikes everywhere. Unless you live in the city within walking distance of everything...but that is not something that is always that practical to do, nor is there that much decent/affordable housing in the cities.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a teddy bear that I actually sleep with. Hubby gave it to me after my last surgery, and "Bear Bear" has just stayed with me every since. I have others, but not that "close" to me.
The last book I read came from the library. I mostly check out books from the library because I can't afford to buy books any more, nor do I have space to keep them.
Yes, I use texting as well. Post it notes were used when I worked only as a way to identify the paperwork that it was attached to, or as a little note to remind me of something I needed to do. They are handy, but I don't normally use them to write notes to other people. My first grade teacher's name was Mrs. Frierson.
4. I should be fixing lunch for hubby and me now. I'm surprised he hasn't mentioned it yet, so I keep writing! LOL. Better go, however. It is time for lunch.
Have a lovely day.
There IS no "should!" TOTALLY agree. We put too much stress on ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think of this when I was answering the questions. I don't have a teddy bear BUT there is a Snoopy on one of the guest beds upstairs. The granddaughters sleep with it and play with it. Your rent is expensive.
