Friday 5 - Excessive negativity

  1. What’s your biggest complaint about in-store shopping?

That you have to walk all the way and can't sit down.

  2. What’s your biggest complaint about seeing movies in a theater?

Too expensive... and with corona moving around again....

  3. What’s your biggest complaint about personal hygiene?

That people leave their stuff for others or me to tidy up.

  4. What’s your biggest complaint about preparing a meal?

When I am hungry I want a meal to cook itself...
My gluco goes too low, I have to eat something to be able to cook...

  5. What’s your biggest complaint about your neighborhood?

    People don't care for others.
When Mr. J. collapsed on the street they were all ready to hear more about this sensational sight... But that was it. Just one person offered help...but we never have contact. And the student neighbours were the only ones who really showed care. I got a wonderful bouquet of marvellous white roses and an invitation to come around.

They see the car has gone... None offering a ride to the hospital or whatever.

Another complaint is the noise. People live here like they live alone on the world. No quiet time outside when the weather is nice.

And those heatpumps...I can hear the low frequency sounds... That's why camping is so important for me. People who care and no night noise, but some snoring...

  1. Neighborhoods just aren't as friendly as they used to be in the "olden days". People are too busy with their own lives and don't really take time to care for others or to even get to know them. I can be just as guilty of that as my neighbors. We tend to want to keep to ourselves and not be bothered by other people's problems. It is something that I am working on in my own heart and life. Sometimes my wanting to help is overcome by just not really being able to do much. We seem to have so many of our own "issues" these days that we don't have time to help others with theirs. It truly is a sad state of affairs. I do pray that you will find some good friends and neighbors to actually be that...good friends and neighbors. (((hugs)))
