ReplyDeleteOh yes, in her music and as a person. She made me into a fighter.
Deleteoh wow - I'm sorry about the moments you want to erase. They were painful moments. I'm not familiar with any of those musicians.
ReplyDeleteHave a look online to find their music.
DeleteMichel Fugain is a French singer. He had a nice group of people around him and together they had a lot of succes. Some songs are very happy, others a bit melancholic.
Gregory Porter Is an American, who always wears a hat since he felt the need to cover his facial scars that were a consequence of skin surgery when he was a child. He is a very kind man with a wonderful voice, I am sure you'll like his repertoire.
Kiri te Kanawa is a singer from New Zealand. She mainly sang opera. Amazing voice!
Nina Simone. You will have heard her, I am sure of it. She sang about everything. Soul, spirituals, entertainings songs, etc etc. She had many talents. Apart from that she was always very aware of racism issues and inequality.
