Bournemouth

Great idea to go to Bournemouth..
I have never been there, certainly not with this couple of friends.
My son went with us, because he wanted to go somewhere later in the day, and it would be a lot easier starting at Bournemouth.

When we drove into the town the rain was torturing the streets.
But when we left the parking it was dry.

I had trouble walking the steep streets.
We had a coffee and then a walk around.

At the oceanarium people were protesting, handing out brochures with information that simply can't be right. They were very offensive. A family wanted to enter the oceanarium and they yelled in their ears and booed enormously loud. It was pure harassment and in my country I would have called the police.
That was the only black spot on the day.

We walked along the sea.
J said he was thinking about renting one of the coloured beach houses next year or so.
I am sure the kids and grandchildren would enjoy that.

When we walked past the RAF simuator I looked if Simon was working. Immediately the young soldier asked me in.

Son1 went into the souvenirshop. I had a look ther too, but it was far too hot inside.
I think my son didn't realize he left through another door. When he came outside he was looking around, like he was completely lost. Bit unkind, but...it was funny.

G and J invited us to dinner at a lovely restaurant, overlooking the beach.
The food was delicious!!

When we left, walking through the park, I had trouble reaching the car again, as my foot and ankle had problems with the steep street.

We got son1 to where he needed to be and drove home.

At the hotel I found the room cleaned, with new towels and all.

Had a good rest, reading, watching TV.
