The first time Elon mentioned my country he pointed his finger to research that had been done to uncover wrongdoings and bring people to court. He made it look like we just condoned criminal facts and disregarded our laws.
The reaction from our government was far too decent. It should have been pointed out that he should take care of problems in his own country first.
I don't understand how someone who only has money to buy whatever he wants, including the knowledge and research to get a rocket to Mars, ... so someone who doesn't need any more knowledge than how to make other people do their job... how someone like that can be in a government.
Well, money can buy everything...
He kept quiet today.. but I guess he is afraid to loose his position.
I woke up to the news that T. has suggested to move all the people of Gaza out of their country, so the USA can own the country and develop it into a tourist attraction after removing all the ruins and unexploded bombs.
What?!!!
I have to be honest. I heard him say something like this a couple of years ago.
And now it started a train of thought...
Being a friend of Israel... Giving all the materials for destruction...
When I have heard it acouple of years ago (and remembered how flabbergasted I was), Israel has heard it too.
That is why the reaction to october 7 has been so out of proportion. Not only Hamas was targetted in well prepared actions of special forces, but all people there, even the babies and ill people, have been targetted with destructive bombs. That's why hospitals were destructed and all aid was stopped at the borders. They must have thought they could break a whole population and make it move out...especially after handling the country as a concentrationcamp.
Israel knew that if T would come to power he would try to empty whole Gaza so a Palestinian state would never be realized.
And that is their ultimate goal.
Yet...I was surprised when I heard he had suggested to act that way.
The implications are enormous!!
Mass deportation of the people of Gaza!
And no word from Elon?
But this is precisely where the USA has been founded on: de deportation of people who were not wanted in a certain area, regardless of the fact that they were the original inhabitants.
A crime against humanity.
Using the excuse of cleaning up a country.
T. isn't that altruistic to do that without hidden intentions.
Does he want to be nearer to the oil?
Does he want to compete with Dubai?
No presence without the military on the ground for defense. Even though the public was told there would be no military involvement. That would be absolutely impossible, unless Israel already has agreed to take over guarding the country against Hamas and other organised and non-organised Palestinians.
It hit me that nowehere there was a word about talking with the Palestinians themselves.
It was us against them.
Power against the homeless, grieving, and starving population, whose homes, possessions and lifelyhoods has been destroyed.
A lage part of the world, from citizns to politicians see parralells with historical wrongdoings.
The tone, the ideas, the disregard of international laws, the lack of empathy with a whle population being diminished by targetted actions.... we've seen it before.
We know the consequences... , so my thought is: what's next? Who is next?
In the light of the behaviour of T of last 2 weeks, we might even expect him to change his mind, to get less rigorous, but yet devastating ideas being implemented.
The plans were not just some brainwaves sloshing against his skull.
Private agets are already present, accoring to reports of people inside Gaza.
The names of the organisations have already be made public.
A lot of "open" information is given: they're independent, neutral. They don't need bureaucacy, ... and no training...
A clever step? These military don't fall under the international regulations, like the convention of Geneva. So they can take action the way they want. They're completely equiped with military materials, including M4's, SR-25's and Glocks.
And when something goes wrong... or right but disapproved by the international community, T. can say: They have done their jobs not good enough, I have dismisse them.
(And they might even return the next day under a different name.)
We will now hear nice words, about altruistic gestures, we will see carefully directed facial expressions and studied ways of articulating evil in a nice way. The crowds should have the feeling the intentions are wonderful and altruistic and aiming to peace.
But when a government stops all international aid, even to starving people, spending money on one spot of the world is at least..."a bit strange".
I feel like every nerve in my body is listening and trying to sense what will happen next...
