Cold, carer and court

A very cold night and day again.
It was -6 when I looked and it got colder after that.

With some moisture in the air and a bit of ice rain the situation on the roads got dangerous, leading to a lot of accidents with at least one person dead.

More ice rain is expected. An orange weatheralarm has been issued.

So I am not very happy that son3 has to work this night, meaning he's on the road for hours.

Son 4 had heard that his new primary carer is someone he likes.
I think she is someone who hides her agenda from him.
I am afraid it will be a new fight about making him accept volunteer work outside the home. At the moment he is quite willing to start something new. But how often wewent throughthe samein the past? He enthousiastic... carer happy... he's going to some sort of day occcupation... once..
Just once... because he can't cope with all sorts of people around him and other triggers.
The result is another backfall and me discussing the whole lot with the carer.. Just a repeat of steps.
We'll see.

There was better news about a very important political decision made by the minister who left yesterday.. being kind of secretive about his new job.
He wanted to close two centers for pediatric heartcare.
Meaning parents have to travel with their children rather far in an emergency situation. And, to be honest, even without an emergency a visit to the cardiologist will take almost all day, which is completely nuts.
With others I brainstormed to provide good reasons not to close.
The minister said the cardiologists need to have more cases per person to get better experience. Whereas I know that virtual training accomplishes a lot. I said that not the patient should travel, but the cardiologist. So have consulations at all the available hospitals, with always someone in training being present too.

Well, the whole problem was brought to court and the judge decided today the two clinics won't be closed.
yeay!!!!!!
