Had a lot to do on saturday.
Now I can walk without pain (most of the time) I have to tackle a lot what has been undone for the past months.
It's not work I like, it's just what needs to be done.
But first I had a talk with our favorite postman, who brought a package just for me.
It almost never happened and if I get something it's for Mrs.
So he asked if the name on the package was of my other daughter.
"Noop, it's me"! So you have been talking hours on end and forgot my name?"
We had a good laugh about it.
He's almost like another son, eager to have a talk.
When I opened the package with the shoes that should match the raincoat I got for my birthday I was a bit disappointed. It was purple, not lilac. It was the first time I ordered shoes online.
The coat has a bit more red in it... if the shoes could get a light almost transparent haze of red over it... or dots with the right color......
The fit was perfect, a bit stiff at the back maybe, but that changes in time is my experience.
I hope the birthdaymoney will be well used.
On with the work.
When it was time to decide what to eat for dinner we didn't find the potato product that was said would be in the freezer.
So I mailed Mr. J, who was at one of the sons, eating what he loves most.
"Top drawer at the left."
No.
Like often the past year he has something stuck in his memory. It was there...but it's no longer there, in fact it hasn't been there for two months.
I often have to ignore those "pinned memories", otherwise it results in an ongoing 'yes' vs "no".
So I apped back that the bag with it was not there. We would eat bread.
Son 3 knew that the day before dinner was a disaster too. A snack, onions and bread.
So he got us some quiche. Which was delicious!!!
The sunday was the same as the past months: Star Trek and in the evening: Call the Midwife.
Was very tired, but glad I can do things in the house again.
As I want to move in the foreseeable future it's time to get some structure in all what was saved in 36 years. With 6 kids and their father being away from 7.00 to 19.00 I didn't have much time to make it a very nice attic. I just put the things there and that was it.
But the daily chores need to be done too.
And even though it might come as a surprise: I am just a human being.
Want to take part too?
You're very welcome.
